Today,

This weekend I had myself plenty of distractions. I am still experiencing His Peace that Surpasses all Understanding. I am grateful that I have been able to allow Him to pick me up each day and carry me through. I know that without my faith I would be a heap on the floor incapable of moving on.
I have such a strong foundation in the Lord because of my parents. They stood steadfast in their faith through the midst of their trials leaving me a Great Legacy to follow in. I am thankful that the Lord lead my parents to Him and thus they were faithful to Him to teach their NINE children to follow Him too.
I look at my husbands family, and families of those around me and I cannot help but be thankful that the mistakes my parents made did not distract me from His Truth. I am also thankful that my wonderful husband was able to see His Truth through the chaos that is his family.

Mom and Dad, Thank you for helping to grow my knowledge of His word and Truth. Your encouragement to grow and learn more from the Lord in the midst of all my trials is the greatest gift you could have given me. I love you both and I am so Thankful that God gave me to you as your 'lil gift of Joy!' Having Jacob brought me to a new level of understanding of your love for all Nine of us. I am so Blessed.
